The tops of the gates are supposed to be acorns. I say they are Welsh dragon eggs, as they aren’t acorns.

Really nice , that was a lot of work gone in making them well done.
I made my 7 foot twin gates with curls and twirls , I knew I should have had planning permission , about 15 years later I spoke to a Councillor about something else and mentioned I live at the place with 7 foot gates he said we won't mention that, I said they have been up over 10 years.
