Not seen this one before - but haing done a search, it seems quite rife.

I have put my Trooper up for sale - Then I receive a text message via my Landline number (I assume usually they send to mobiles) wanting further details and to contact them on a non-existent e-mail provider (or so it seemed) or on a number...cheekily asking not to text!.....according to rtesearch, this is a premium rate australian number 0061428465117. It seems to be the same number calling for everything from flats to rent, to vehicles for sale.

Just so you know, if you have anything for sale and get one of these - just forget it, and don't reply!

much the same as other cons, if it asks you to call them or sell you anything delete it. there's a couple of ways that people get ripped off, either being greedy or gullible they are always variations on those themes
