Tomorrow is MOT day we have finally finished the bitch
Not going to say it's the easiest job I have taken on its had just a few challenges along the road skint Knuckle's a few harsh words frustrating at times out in all weather.
A lot of time money gone in to the project
It was nearly the end of ourmotorhomeing days.
Had even consider joining the cc and the cc&c as our wild camping days would be over.
Back to camping or a conversation but I do think we would have thrown in the towels
But it seems to have come together Now
Just hope it stays together now
Never Ben more nervous abut a MOT than I am abut this one
Un tested engin and gear box untested complete project Untested right shoulder
And a holiday starting on Friday I don't half know how to put my shelf under pressure
There's not a mental brake down button  so this will have to do
It's Ben a project of many emotions
Being away Frome home although it has brought me closer to my son who has Ben through a bad Time since leaving the forces.
But it's helped me to understand his problems.
I lost two friends during this project
One table his own life one passed away after a sort lines.
I dislocated my shoulder went through surgery it's still not fully healed yet
I got to know my butifull grandouter
Met my grand children I had never seen
Re recruiting them to help me
Still trying to keep the business going it doing Ok
It's going to be a bit sad to leave and go back to the old routine
Any looking like the thread is coming to the end

That's a shame Bill, but it was a pleasure to follow. :) One of the highlights of your "engine upgrade project thread"...............................was learning that you and Lyn are back together. (y)

Keep looking after that shoulder, and if the design of the suspension system comes off, get someone else to do the heavy assembly work. ;)

Cheers the noo pal,

Jock. :)

I will use you as my inspiration.

My 1987 Hymer 660S goes for its test tomorrow...

I haven't done as much work on it as you did on yours, but I did wash it yesterday and this afternoon I plan to doing the washing up and sweep the carpet and tidy the inside a bit.

Well done on the MOT.
Have you driven had beast with the new motor and was all the heartache worth it,does it fly up them hill So?
I have driven the bich and what a difference it has made Frome the bit I have driven it the real test will be the 500 that's the test drive.
I have gone home to Goole and we will return on Tuesday
To start our holiday and the commissioning run local to start with then
The holiday proper we have Nene weeks to fill as the wee-man has all that time off for his holidays this privete school thing I sent so bad after all.
Got back home about a great ago he is fast asleep in his tip of a room only thing missing is the rats will have to have a word with him about it what a dump.
I blame the public school system
He does not know I am home but he is in the poop a bit fighting at school
He did win so his punishment is 30 min off guitar practice every day of the holiday
If he dose no
