Hi folk’s, looking for pro’s and cons of a tag axle MH. Been caravaning for years but looking to change to a motorhome next year and looking at what’s out there. ideally with fixed island bed, large garage, preferably Alde wet heating and we’ve seen a couple of tag axle vans we like so just looking for pro’s and cons really from you experienced types. I have no license restrictions so no worries on weight

TIA

Just a few things to consider. As I have one now and previously.
Can be harder to level, unless you have a levelling system.
Can be harder to get serviced/MOT'd , if your local garage has size /weight restrictions on the vehicles they can manage, particularly if you are trying to keep it within warranty.
Can be restrictions on which sites/pitches you can use, depending on the length of the tag you have.
Very stable on the road. Normally a good pay load and water and waste tank sizes.
Not trying to put you off, as we get along with all of these things fine. But just depends how and where you want to use it.

Have you got a C1 licence? You'll definitely need one with a tag axle.

We've never had problems levelling ours, just try and pitch somewhere fairly level and if we need to level a bit more we use Quattro ramps.
