Hi all, just got ourselves a kontiki 6 berth 1995 yesterday.
looking forward to getting out and about in it but will be doing some fixes on the old girl first.
just saw this forum pop up whilst googling so decided to join. will probably be picking a few brains here over the coming months as our kontiki is in need of some tlc. first job will be re-doing all the sealer, sticking a cover over it and dehumidifying her, there's some bits of water damage to fix so we've kinda started our motorhome life the hard way.
anyways, just thought i'd say hi before i start trawling the forums to fill my newbie brain with your knowledge.

cheers guys, yeah there's a few jobs to do so will be asking for some advice in the near future, first up resealing as i can see loads of gaps on the joins externally, gonna put a cover over the old girl and get a dehumidifier cranked up, there's patches of damp, none look too major but i suppose its what i can't see that will be the worst. we went in and stripped all the mattresses out and had a good clean up, found several little spots of damp but only a couple that were soft so hopefully i haven't signed up to a nightmare.
this forum looks a great place to get advice off very experienced owners.
