Hi all,

Just purchased a 2nd hand Ford Herald Squire CK and I’m after some info as below.

Hand book/manual.
Tips and advice regarding the above MH as in what to look for, prone to issues etc.

Also the onboard tank I presume would have some sort of water filter in place what is the best replacement available.

If anyone can point us in a direction to do with anything regarding the above MH it would be most helpful.

Regards,

Brian.

Hi
Hand book, not a chance. It was built in Poole and not long after the manufacturer folded. Many spare parts were bought up by a couple of ex employees. The last of these is autovan services at canford bottom near wimbourne. The build was quite basic so other than the usual bits that wear out and break, its generally damp you need to watch out for

there is or was no filter fitted to the water tank, just a strainer on the pump

The old shape transit was near bomb proof and parts and working on it is as easy as you can get. No computers or other complications

really is an ideal first van. Hope you have many happy journeys together

Thanks.

I’m sure I seen a water filter under the rear seat, well I presumed it was a filter.

Damp no it’s solid, smells none damp and well looked after.

Shame about a handbook.
