Hi, all,
We are Dave & Jenny from Bolton in Lancashire and tomorrow we pick up our Mirage 6000. (can't wait!).
Not new to motorhoming, as we've had a few in the past- 3 Americans, and a converted Mazda Bongo! -a very good vehicle but too small for us because of my disability. We've also had a few caravans too but I don't really like towing, so it's back to a motorhome. Our first trip is to The Feast of Lanterns at Pickering next Friday, looking forward to the trip. Anyone is welcome to call for a brew and chat -we have one of those "Reserved " signs that says "DAVE & JENNY".

hi, staging lady,
The feast of lanterns is the annual get together of the Camping and Caravan club. They have it in different places each year. There is lots of entertainment and it's a good event to get together with old friends etc. The event usually has a theme -this year it is "the festive season" people do their units up to the theme (you don't have to) there is also competition to light up your unit too . A good get together and well worth the effort of going. That's it in a nutshell.
