Hi All! Just joined up.
Trev and I are from Down Under. We are heading back to UK for our second 6 months in our motorhome, taking it again to Europe. Hoping for some insight into our trip, with POIs for Garmin (not sure what Autoroute 2010 is as yet) and recommendations on good places to park and stay.
We plan to pass down through France via Rouen, Monet's Garden, Versailles, Guedelon, Loire, Peche Merle, Oradour sur Glane, etc thence along top of Spain, a bit of Portugal, maybe Morocco, Gibraltar, Majorca, south of France, Italy (though doubt we would get as far as Sicily), then, depending on time left, Dolomites, Italian lakes and Switzerland.
Will be looking for ideas on storage in UK from end Oct.
We are both keen cyclists and have MTBs (29ers) with us. Also like hiking. We will visit the occasional city, art gallery, museum, cathedral, etc, but prefer exploring the countryside and quieter places, including beaches.
It will be nice to chat with other motorhomers and glean infomation from your experience.
Cheers

Adele and Trev (y)

Welcome!

In some of the Alpine resorts, the ski lifts remain open for mountain bikers and hikers.
For a bit of lift-assisted high altitude mountain biking check out Les Gets in the French Alps, amongst other resorts.

Happy travels!
