Year 3 of ownership !
Hello girls and boys. My name is Mark from Wales. Ive just today done a deal on a Autocruise. Its a 1991 model which is old, but its a minter. Its huge 27 feet, will only just fit on my drive but hey. Had caravans over the years and tents, but ive always wanted a motorhome. How do you people afford to buy £30- £40 k motorhomes. Will be going over the winter period to Wales's Tenby and Saundersfoot and the great Brecon Beacons cant wait. Thanks for looking.

:Cool: Hi mark e. A BIG Welcome to MotorhomeFun. We don't ALL own £30k to £40k Motorhomes. Although some of us have two. :ROFLMAO:

BTW. It's not the AGE or the SIZE that counts. It's what you CAN do with it?

Update on my story. Made an offer on the autocruise, now dealer has changed his mind on the asking price because of the interest in it.:Angry: So while looking for another, ipoped to a dealer today and bought this.

Hi Mark, you've paid for it, now enjoy it. You will find much of the things you can do are "priceless". ::bigsmile:

£10,000 was the original budget. :cry::Doh: Decided today to sell my car a volkswagen passat. Should get £2500 for it. Cant afford to run 2 cars and a motorhome. Only travel 10 miles a day to work, with a nice big car park.

Boy oh boy ! I picked her up today, what a machine. Drives perfect, busy M4 motorway with caravans and motorhomes. Motorhomes all waving and flashing lights to each other, looking at each others models, COOOOLL... Brought it home, family been coming over all day to look at it, jealous as hell. Tommorow going out in it for the day, been reading all the leaflets for the fridge, fire etc all afternoon. Going to have anice cup of tea and a cake by the beach somwhere.

I'm so glad i bought it ::bigsmile:::bigsmile:::bigsmile:

7 Years after 5 years with caravan.
Nice piece of kit.

Just one thing wrong with it - you'll want to give up work so you can go and play in it.

Took it out again today to a place called Porthcawl near Bridgend. Loads of motorhomes parked up on the sea front by the pier. Was talking to a group of campers who where all together wildcamping. One family even had a converted bus. Must have been about 30 motorhomes all in all. Loved it :thumb:

Anybody who knows where i was, is by the fair. They have just sold the land to a housing development. Dont know whats going to happen to the front with regards to wildcamping there though :Sad::cry:

Soon as i come back i treated the cab to a wash and a quick clean inside after having tea and biscuits.
