If you visit the lovely new Lanark world heritage site and beautiful Clyde Valley. Ask to stay in their car park at the top, nice and quiet with lovely views/walks over the village and clyde valley. Definitely better than staying at the dreadful local campsite (clyde valley campsite) which is like camping in the middle of 'the scheme'......seriously!!!

Agree entirely. Lovely spot. I've wilded there a couple of times. No bother at all.

We were there last week for the Lanimers. Although we stayed at Mount view caravan park near Biggar. There is also a Britstop site quite close to Lanark.
