Hi and welcome to the fun factory. We hired a motorhome before buying one to get the feel of motorhome life. It clinched it for us provided we didn’t buy one the same as the hire one. Probly just a hire motorhome but there were some negatives with it.
Our Australian relatives called us geriatric motorhome owners grey nomads when we hired a motorhome in New Zealand.

We seem to be inching [or should that be centimetring?] towards a Burstner Ixeo Time IT 590 M/home; subject to Independent Engineer's Inspection 1 week today, and subject to payload confirmation at around 582kg. By mid April we may be menacing the roads of Scotland ...
