Was trying to set up the 890.......thought to myself........ this is not going well at all......then discovered that Garmin have some major problems at the moment.
They have supposedly been attacked by a ransomware scam.

Been an outage for a while now.

Tom Tom Go Camper on standby.....see how this situation pans out.

I use Waze on my mobby. Seems to work ok and route can be reviewed for any issues before setting off. I did talk to a couple of blokes recently when we were on hols near Swanage and they said their satnavs tried to take them down a narrow road near Corfe Castle even though they'd entered their mh size and weight.

I think one has to be linked to a phone for traffic info and the other has an integral sim card.

That says 51LMT-D/S though. And when you go on the Garmin site, it only mentions

Am I being pedantic in the must have mentality but both my Garmin (van) and Tom Tom ( car) came with free lifetime updates and every six months that's what we do. I had the BMW garmin thing and had another three of them between two bikes! Biggest waste of money ever! So far the Garmin 660, and Tom Tom are fine and we can always double check with google maps which is a lot better!

A bit late in the post but when I first started breakdown work the street map I bought for one of the towns had mis prints. Not knowing the area and no mobile phones I could have done with a sat nav.
