Hi everyone!

We are just about to embark on our 1st year of full time motorhoming and are looking for advice on areas/places/sites anyone could recommend to stay for the winter (warm if course ?☀️)
We are thinking south Spain? We are 9m A class with a small motorbike trailer & 2 dogs?
Any help or ideas would be much appreciated ?❤️?☀️

Are you planning to stay in one place all the time or move around? Lots and lots of campsites in Spain offer deals for long term stays if that's your thing.

Just beware of residency rules of course.

Thanks all! We were thinking of the Seville area potentially, what are the current residency rules is it 90 days? And how strictly is this monitored?

Camper Park La Ribera would be a consideration if I was doing winter. If you stay longer than 7 nights its 7 euros a night. Price includes electric, large pitches, 3 toilet shower blocks with washing machines. Cheap bar and restaurant on site 10 minute walk to beach area and 10 minutes to town. Only problem no shade but in winter would be ideal. They will nearly always find you a pitch

It all depends on what happens with the B word we can't mention. At present nobody seems to bother, some stay most of the year without problems.

depending on what happens 31 sept you might have to go to Morrocco for all or part of time depending how long intending to be outside UK including transiting in EU

You have to be careful with sites some of the pitches are so small and tight you just cannot get in. We watched a Morello trying to get in one. He tried every which way he could to get in. Just not enough room to turn his monster. We found some of the sites in the south of Spain very old and certainly in need of a refit. You also find a lot of permanent people who just live there all the year round they seem to cover the whole pitch with tents and gazeboes and just about anything they can lay their hands on.

Always have a Plan B and never arrive late. Nothing worse than finding out you are too big to get in and having nothing else planned.

Thanks all for the advice wise words & wisdom! We get on with our research and see what we can find, with regards to Morocco what are sites like there? Also permit for driving? Oh and ferry crossings? ?

This site has very spacious pitches. The site is right on the beach and there is an area especially reserved for dogs. Facilities are excellent including a lovely pool.

Since 2013, myself and many other funsters have documented the now annual trips. LOTS of Info is on this forum. Go do a search for the thread Morocco 2013 then follow that with all the other years. (y)

You'll need to be a fully paid up member to access the Resources.
You've only got one post left until you subscribe - it's the best £15 you'll ever spend on motorhoming.
