Possible idea for Jim to start a new topic for reviews of motorhome services and items.
Looking at threads some praising some criticising dealers, services, motorhomes and accessories with the size of membership of this forum could be quite a useful resource and might ensure we get good service from dealers, garages and installers as the bad and good ones can be reported on.
Giving a good idea of who to go to, and pitfalls of others, also items that work and those that fail to live up to expectation.
Hopefully manufacturers, dealers etc would respond too.
The only problem would be if people slandered or lied about things so would have to be monitored more than the usual topics.
If monitored correctly would be a great benefit to all motorhomes looking on the site.

Check the dark blue at the top of the page.

Unless, of course, you have an idea for something different to that?

Look at the top of the forum pages there you will find on the dark blue line a word saying reviews. Is that the sort of thing you mean?

Ok but recent threads about services and dealers do not appear there.
Recent posts about SMC and globecar, also that bodge job by travelworld did not appear there and will be lost in general forums.
Reviews don't allow for conversation as some complaints as shown by recent writers can be unjustified.
More of a conversation than straight review.
Also a place to ask for any reviews on future purchases.

Hover over your name - Top right - left hand pane is preferences (not alert preferences) - Uncheck "and receive e-mail notifications".

See the three tabs, one of those is DISCUSSION, anything posted there appears on the forum in the usual way ie recent and new posts.

Re your email alerts, thats easy to do, take a look at . You'll find a link to it at the bottom of every page.

Ok should of played around on the site a bit more.
Will have a good look at it now.
My £15 pound investment has just got better!!!!

Must admit being on the site has cemented previous thoughts and given me new ones.
Not got my MH yet, waiting till I retire but it's getting closer.
Going to NEC next week to look at my future purchase and see if there is anything better.
Any suggestions to look at.
