This is an Excel file to calculate your trip cost and MPG. Just put in the data and it will calculate all for you. :thumb:

tried to open the file but as usual any XLSX file in openoffice will only open in 'read only' mode.
same problem a while ago with another downlosd file.
any suggestions anyone ?

Hi,
Just downloaded and installed office, open the file and it is all working fine on my laptop, just try to put some data like Fuel price how many litters your start mileage and end mileage then it should calculate the cost for you.

thats the problem Mo....it opens as a read only file so i cant alter any parameters :Sad:

not a big problem really as i know i get a steady 5.5mpl over many hundreds of miles
so its not difficult to work out.

admittedly it takes the guesswork out of the calculation though.

I have just installed OpenOffice 3.2.0 and and checked the file with it and all seem to be working with my installation. I will save one with OpenOffice and upload it to see if that makes any difference.:thumb:
