Inside piccies please. That does look loverly! Our first van was a dethleffs, good quality, however now have Hobby, nothing, has dropped off, broken at first use or subsequent uses, on either of them.
Lucky you.
@Caggsie1 sorry for the wait. Little decent Internet while travelling plus each time I went to take photos it looked like a top.

Hi Mike

Bear in mind this is our first so not a lot to compare it with.

Very, very pleased so far. Has enough guts engine wise. Everything seems to be rattle and squeak free so far.

Economy better than expected, TV system is Caratec (not one I've heard of) but a great picture and satellite performed well and trouble free.

Lots of good ideas put into practice compared to other makes we looked at. We wanted a rear longe for the lounging space and looked at Hymer, Frankia, Burstner? and a coupe of others.

This is the one that worked for us in terms of storage space, quality of finish, fit of furnishings, modern looking etc. I think the biggest compromise was on garage height but I don't think it's possible to get everything.

You must be thrilled with it. I really like the layout and styling.

Do you have any trips planned?

Nothing fixed in stone. Currently at Vanbitz, them home - another 340 miles. Get van registered on a V5 and then probably do some 'local' trips. Many places in the UK we haven't spent any time at and then can't wait to get some extended winter sun - rather than a fly in and out 10 days!

How very exciting, We put the experience of buying our two vans new to the feelings when we bought our first and only house all those years ago. Bloody vans cost three time more than the house.

Use the van and love the experience.
The advice and tips on this forum will help you out for ever.

Re the awning. On our old 8.7m van, made a silly mistake when I rolled it out one beautiful sunny evening to BBQ in the shade.

Not a puff of wind in the air and failed to peg down.

Well you guessed it, a swirl of wind just came across the field and the awning was sucked up and thrown right over the van, very costly error and the damage to then was very upsetting for a school boy error.
Always just put a couple of pegs in.

Got home today and had the first really good look around the internals and storage. Even more impressed than I was originally.

Found some more storage in the garage that I hadn't realised was there about 1400 * 800 extra storage. It's in centre of garage and under rear lounge raised floor.

I hope I don"

Is it big enough to slide in a spare wheel? You could attach a piece of rope to it to make it easy to take out when needed?

After seeing hundreds of vans the alpha A6820 (coach built ) was the first van I seriously thought about buying, at that time your A class was not available, I loved it BUT the garage was to small for me to get my scooter in , i then found the MH I now have the trend A7877-2 (coach built ) , I do prefer the A class vans but my coach built suits my needs better , I really like your van , enjoy

Not sure about that size wise - but a good idea if it will
