Tried and tested over 3 meets. Here are the final pictures.

Did anyone notice that the new bench moved forwards about 100mm. It was a bit narrow after trying it for real. Luck was on our side, there was over 100mm of cushion under the back cushion so just need a hidden infill.

We are still delighted, it's and spacious and it's our home.

Now with solar and a BM1 added. How could we ever part with it ?

I was taking the job seriously !

The Germans never intended that seat to come out. But they always underestimate what the Brits can do.

Well that was how it started, "I'm just going looking for cloth for new curtains" said Mrs Hilldweller....

3 years on and not so good news, the original Burstner cloth was still good at 10 years but the new softer fabric we chose is getting a bit tired.

So FUNsters, choose your next fabric very carefully.
