Hi
I want to buy two decent quality folding alu chairs, was recommended Dukdalf Dynamic, which do indeed look great, however, cannot find anywhere that has actually got any stock!
I would rather buy decent ones that will hopefully last a while.
What does everybody use?
I want to be able to sit up to a table with them
Thanks

Andy

A long time now
We bought 2 Isabella chairs very comfortable and the right height for dining ,cost about £60 each but worth it and we also bought the extenders for lounging I think they were £20 each all in all a good buy .

I got my Dukdalf chairs from an eBay seller who sells at motorhome shows. They were ones that had been unpacked at shows and so were technically a second but they looked unused.

I think that finding the right folding chair is a very subjective thing and that you need to try them out before buying.
We tried dozens at shows and retail outlets before we found the chairs that we liked and what I found comfortable my wife did not so we each have a different make and model of chair.

We've got Dukdalf recliners and have had a couple of issues with them due to the screws that hold them together snapping. Yes the missus goes to Slimming World and I could do with a couple of pounds off, but we're well within their weight parameters. They use two 5 mm screws about 70 mm long that takes all the weight on the seat base which ended up looking like a dog's back leg which I replaced with M6 hex bolts and a couple of torx self tappers on the cross members which snapped.

I agree it's a very subjective decision.
We opted for Lafuma Cham Elips, we found them the best compromise of comfort, size (open and folded), weight, quality and cost.

Isabella for us too. One we have had for five years and the other for two. Still as good as new, used a lot too. Very good support for the lower back, main reason for buying in the first place as lots did not have this.

Not long enough!
I bought 2 on ebay a few weeks ago £30.
A bargain and great chairs. They do come up so keep an eye out.
Difficult to source in UK.
