Very new. I took the photos in the morning, by the time we went back late afternoon, a sign had been put on it. No parking on the harbour itself but allowed in the car park on entrance except for summer months.Great idea is it new this yr ? I love that harbour
I would be willing to do so if parking (overnight) facilities were provided nearby.I have put a call in to the Harbour masters office they are going to find out the cost of kit, installation and supplier. I am thinking it would be great to Local authorities to fit them in strategic places. If the cost is not stupid maybe we could set up a go fund me or something and the motorhome community might want to contribute?

Is that your tortoise? It looks to be a beauty.I'd be happy to contribute but fitting is easy maintaining and cleaning could be an issues especially with some of the behaviour we have witnessed this year.

My point is that if these are located in each town or village then as long as they are advertised then the corvid newbies may just stop dumping everywhere and use them.I'd be happy to contribute but fitting is easy maintaining and cleaning could be an issues especially with some of the behaviour we have witnessed this year.

A bit big for the garden. I couldn't get any impression of scale from the small picture - I certainly can now. Still a beautiful (bigger) animal .No, sadly but lives happily with many friends in the Galapagos , me stood in the background for his size he is very happy there
Lots of info about costs and suppliers on the CAMpRA FB/website. They are campaigning for aires in the U.K. If you aren’t a member, consider joining. Lots of local councils, Tourist Boards, NT, etc have been contacted and they are also in discussions with CampingCarparks about them setting up in the U.K.I have put a call in to the Harbour masters office they are going to find out the cost of kit, installation and supplier. I emailed the community council on the same day that I started this thread, thanking them and suggesting a donation box. No reply to date. email:Well you couldn’t make this up, the Harbour Master, a really nice guy called Len Campbell has retired on Friday afternoon, never said a word ! I have now been told that the Community Authority were responsible for it but you cannot get through to speak to anyone at present due to COVID! Emergency calls only. So on hold for present.
I will give it a few weeks and try again.

No must admit, the new guy didn’t get back to me but I did a little research and anywhere from £750 for very basic to £5000 for complete unit with lids etc.
