New Campsite on the A10 cambridgeshire (1 Viewer)

When we were at Peterborough we found out about a new campsite that has recently opened.

It used to be a pub The Travellers Rest and we have often driven past it.

Its between Cambridge and Ely

Its still called the Travellers Rest apparently has about 40 pitches and they are currently charging £12 or £12.50 a night.

Until end of April they are doing 4 nights for 3 and then 3 nights for the price of 2 until the end of June but excluding bank holidays

Looks a very nice place

I may try this next month as my sister lives in Cambridge.

Might make it an overnight stay


Here is the price

Caravan £12.50 + £3.00 electric per night
max 4 ppl (2 adult & 2 children)
All electric hook ups £3.00 extra per night (most pitches have electric hook ups)
Gazebo and awnings £1.50 extra per night

For bus pass holders, I didn't get to bed til 3 so you might want to double check.

That brought back memories.
I used to be stationed at Waterbeach Barracks about half a mile away.

Sad person that I am I have just looked it up on google earth and seen my old Squadron offices over the fence.
Nearly brought a tear to my eyes.
