A breath of fresh air, arrived in the post today👍
Am counting down the days to when we can finally get out and about. Will be spending the next few nights looking through the book earmarking potential stopovers😉

Your post made me check my mailbox!
Ours arrived too 😀
Something to discuss over dinner tonight.

This is our first experience of Britstops so we are really looking forward to trying quite a few of them

Ordered mine today. After seeing your posts. Eagerly awaiting its arrival now. It’s a great resource for us as we would be eating and drinking out anyway. This book means the bedroom is never far from the pub👍🏻🍺🍷.

Lots of different views on here regarding BS, but we have bought the book for the past 4 years, and although we haven’t stayed at a lot of them, the ones which we have, have been 👍👍
A great back up to have when out and about.

Just ordered mine from the website. Used ApplePay so didn’t even need to give any personal details! Should be arriving in the next few days.

I stayed at a Britstop { pre-pandemic }.
The Red Lion Inn near The Chew Valley { Not far from The City of Bath.}
The Pub Car Park was free which helped pay for a nice pub meal for two and a few drinks.

Mine also came today...love thumbing through real paper every now and then📚

Someone will probably find it sexist and demand femail boxes📬.
Well I don't mind sexist....HOWEVER if it has to be a "femail " box I really really hope it is a Brazilian one. Hmmmm luverly..
Oops sorry girls. 😎😎😎😎

Just ordered one. Bought it the first year but not since as we generally go across to France but as we're going to have to be in UK again this year thought we'd give it another go.

Yes ours arrived yesterday. Phils already marked on the maps for each region which ones allow the bigger motorhome.

They say about half of stops take motorhomes over 30ft. It’s this that puts us off a bit as we are a gnats under 9.5m.

We used it extensively in our first year of motorhoming and that was in a 9m, we must have visited maybe 30 to 40 stops and I think we only had about 3 that I decided the location was too small. Google maps help if you zoom in on satellite mode it gives you a heads up Of available space.

Thanks for the reminder, I've ordered mine today. I had one when it first came out and only used it once, but it was a really good night out with fabulous food and decent beer!

We've decided to stay UK this year so just ordered. We bought the first couple of years but hardly used them so not bothered but think it's a good addition to our resources for this year.

Never been tempted before...but so excited, I just ordered a copy:party3:

Steve (Britstops) usually asks that we don't mention places by name on public forums: it reduces the need to buy a book AND possibly makes less room for Britstoppers if others use the information provided.

Someone on here should be getting a commission, just ordered my copy due to this thread. :giggle:

Ordered ours last night. We didn’t use it much last year for obvious reasons but hopefully we will use it a bit more this year. We found in the past out of season winter pub stop are great.

We've had some great stops in the UK and Eire.

One place in Eire (not in the book) we had a look at and decided it was a bit dodgy, out came the book and there was a Britstop within three miles at a museum - and a place we were interested in visiting anyway but hadn't realised it was a stop!

Hope my book arrives today - or at least next week. I have a standing order thingy with Paypal (which has just been paid) so the book should be here soon.
