Just been researching these spacers And there purpose. They will fit all X250 & 290 models apparently.
Including all longer stainless steel screws to fit with 15mm spacing I could make the kits for £12.50 per side + p&p. Will need a little time to design it in CAD and test on my own van.

Are they really needed?

Why do motorhome fresh water tanks have locking caps..... Water's free, who'd want to steal it.
It's there to stop people pissing etc in your tank.
