New bike time

Me and my pal got a stupidly good deal on new bikes so we jumped in.
They arrived in Gran Canaria today

It’s not Xmas yet so you can’t open them until then.

We were looking at a new Husky TE300i for me and the KTM300i for him.

Just short of 11,000€

But the KTM dealer in Gran Canaria had a deal on the GasGas version.
8000€ plus 500€ voucher to spend in the shop.
We flew over Wednesday and were like kids in a sweet shop

Sold these 2, bought the GasGas and made a nice profit

I never got on with the geometry of the Gas Gas.

Beta suited me better.

Been there had them a few times, could not get on with the 4T though, they are to fragile for me as when you crash they break easy plus bits fall off regularly

Took it to Popham airfield open track day, it was raining a bit, to say it was hard work is an understatement, was hanging after about an hour

Mate had one of those beasts - throttle about as subtle as flicking a light switch on and off!

This was tame compared to the YZ 490 I had years ago that had been race tuned
Kept on blowing engines up though

Lovely 400’s, E or F ? Got Allspeeds too , ready to fit once I get it back together hopefully this winter

Use to be for years but only have the 1 yellow 400E now and haven’t joined again.
Been on a few of the club run outs that were very good.
I ended up selling all my NOS spares to a club member as lost interest in restoring bikes.
