Just installed a new Halfords HBL700 battery to my 2014 Broadway with a Sergeant 328s controller. It shows a battery drain of 0.1A to 0.2A constant drain. I've tried removing all 12v fuses to isolate all 12v supplies but the Sargeant panel still shows the drain. With a multimeter in series with the battery a drain of 0.8A drain shows( I've tried 2 different meters so I know that 0.8 is accurate)
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
The old battery didn't show any drain, and the new battery voltage is 12.9v

0.1 to 0.3 amps is normal but 0.8 amps is high and suggests something switched on drawing current.
Do you have solar as I have seen a faulty solar regulator taking an amp out of the battery when there is not much sun.

Yes I've got solar but I was getting the 0.8 drain this afternoon, so I waited till it was dusk and got the same reading. Why would cause the normal reading of .1 to .3?

Fridge turned off and all mains MCB and RCD turned off. The Sargeant cover isn't easily removable without dismantling wardrobe shelves, installers need talking to about that.

Also why would the old but serviceable battery not show the same symptoms as the new battery

If it is the leisure battery you are checking have you a battery master fitted (possibly remotely), if so, that may account for the reading you are getting, the other thing that may be worth checking would be the tv ariel booster , if fitted.
