councils need to be educated to the different needs of motorhomes which are different to caravans and tentsI wonder what the camp site owners in Ullapool will have to say about it?
Paying high council tax rates for the council to take away their business
In what way? I don't know what you meancouncils need to be educated to the different needs of motorhomes which are different to caravans and tents
And the midgesif they relocate the jocks
In the way that a high proportion of self sufficient motorhomes visit Scotland yet don't require to camp on a camp site, only a service every few days depending on the design and size of fresh and waste tanks. In what way? I don't know what you mean
The scots are fine its the midgiesthe way scotland is opening aires it could soon rival france as motor home heaven if they relocate the jocks
There’s plenty of business for everyone, already in Ullapool vans park for free near the supermarket, Royal Hotel Ullapool overnight car park £10 we stayed there, campsite was heaving too.I wonder what the camp site owners in Ullapool will have to say about it?

I thought the simple overnight parking spots was what they are proposing.a lot of the time we dont need a swimming pool ,bar onsite, kids entertainment all of which you have to pay for on many sites we need a parking place and occasionally services
caravans tend to park up for a few days using the car to visit the area motorhomes mostly tour only needing off road parking for a night
Just think of them as part of the whole Scottish experience. And the midges
Had enough of the Italian midges Steve so don’t fancy the Scottish onesJust think of them as part of the whole Scottish experience.

Nobody has answered your query so I will.I’ve seen on the Campra Facebook site about various Aires being setup with help from Motorhomefun and wondered if they are listed anywhere on the forum?
Thanks for that, I knew about the 5 van CL’s but didn’t release these were done on a similar system.Nobody has answered your query so I will.
Motorhomefun (Jim) issue 5 van Exemption Certificates to applicants looking to set up a stopover in the UK. CAMpRA's role is to carry out the inspection, get photos, liaise with Planning etc but it is Jim who authorises.
If you check Search4Sites here https://www.searchforsites.co.uk/ select Advanced Search then Pricing and Partners you will find an option CAMpRA Accredited Aire. Tick that, then Submit. (The numbers are growing .......!!)
only the two big clubs insist their approved cl/cs are members only as far as i know .Fun and mcc leave them freeGood news. Well done to all those concerned.
But I'm also a bit confused. Are these new Campra Aires limited to 5 vans then, like a CL / CS? And do you have to be a member of MHF as the "approving organisation" for these new Aires?
There ain't no Sassenachs' in heaven, that's why it's so specialthe way scotland is opening aires it could soon rival france as motor home heaven if they relocate the jocks
