Has anyone been within the last month or so to the new Aire at Bourg, just above Bordeaux, on the side of the river Gironde?
We called there in July and it was a work in progress and we didn't bother stopping.
Apparently you used to be able to stop on the quay but they don't allow it now and the new one is a pain to get to.
Unless the new Aire's been made to a good standard I'm going to have a moan to the T.O about it's out of town location and the likelihood of a problem with access for Motorhomes bigger than a Panel Van.
