New ‘farm stay’ initiative in Portugal

Looks like britsops/ France passion. I think I would tend to just phone a winery and ask most in France are perfectly happy without any membership.

I do like it in principle but would prefer it if it was extended to include restaurants and bars. As we do like to eat out most if not every night whilst away.

One entry I read" Welcome pack " was a lovely breakfast for 2 ( extra pp available) €24 ..also available swimming pool by appt

Hope more join the scheme ..
Would be good if like the Aires book show if suitable for larger Van's

Lovely idea..thanks for sharing Dave

Interesting concept....thanks for spreading the word....

I've posted this before but I'll pop it on here.

Gamping (not Glamping). Some places can take motorhomes. This is from Areas AC.

It's maybe also arrived in Portugal?

Looks like a really good scheme, its a shame that you cant view as a list/spreadsheet, showing facilities (if any), cost and details of the 'gift package'.

as an example, we wouldnt be interested in soft cheeses but would be interested in wines ,,,,:wine: but the only way to find out who does what is to click on each individual location.

great post by the OP, thanks !

You can filter on their website… for instance select winery

We stayed at Quinta Monteiro de Matos near Santarem last year which is one of the Easy Camp sites. Super friendly hosts and really nice wine 🥂 Hook up included at this location as well.

We hope all works out for you. We will be in or around Alvor. :p (y)

Thank you for the tip - we are heading over to Portugal in September for 1st time and will certainly be using Easy Camp sites
One way of seeing the beauty of the Country

Yes we used Easy Camp Portugal last September around the Duro valley area, they are excellent.
Very useful as not to many places to stay in North East Portugal

I am planning a trip to Portugal so I will take the time to contact easycamp to get more info, mainly re:dogs, once we have an idea where abouts we want to be because some of the campsites in Portugal leave a bit to be desired and any alternatives are welcome.
