Very swish and no doubt will attract a buyer but limited storage space. I would probably put a folding tent on the roof if only to give space for rucksacks and bedding etc during the day.

We met an aged French couple in Patagonia who had one very similar, and were touring the whole of South America! We also met a Kiwi couple in Chile, who had purchased a Toyota Land Cruiser, similarly converted in Australia. They are all the rage it seems!

Yes I think everyone WOULD miss the storage space - I certainly would!

these days most build on the disco. they are a much nicer ride and almost give same space .
very common in maroc . know quite a few that use them.
they work good off road and are cheapish.
some have demounts or even full camper bodies fitted to a cut off cab disco.
