Keep wishing ours dead, but it's not working

I'm not your neighbour, but it is working. Feel awful right now but still alive Please can you stop sticking pins in that doll?

Our neighbours are very good. The layout of the roads means that we live in a group of about a dozen houses just slightly apart from the rest of the estate. We don't live in each other's pockets but get on well and know we can rely on each other if necessary.

We are a group of 9 houses with a great set of neighbours. Next door has lived these are about 30+ years - longer than us..... Get on well with them though they spend a lot of time away nowadays. The farm on the other side and the house out the back all very helpful. Another one next door but one always helps feed that cats when we are away and never accept anything for it (so we have to be sneaky and find ways of giving them bottles of wine).

Previous owner of the farm was a bent solicitor who robbed his clients and committed huge VAT fraud. Lucky to escape jail and we were all glad to see the back of them. Struck off for life so don't know what schemes they are up to........
