Need Ideas for Seaside Camping in Wales (1 Viewer)

Hi, We are trying to plan a few days away in August with our 9-year old granddaughter but are finding it difficult to locate a campsite in Wales that has: a sandy beach, takes a motorhome AND a tent (lots out there sound good but then don't accept tents), doesn't need a second mortgage for the fees and is somewhere between Harlech and Newquay-ish or down on the south coast say between Barry and Pembrey-ish. Being a bit picky here I know, but we only have time for a three night stay so don't want to have to drive right down into Pembrokeshire (unfortunately). Have searched the CCC sites and scoured the net to no avail. Any ideas to help us out? :Confused:

They have a holiday rally in Tenby.. £12 a night..

Hi. Is the tent for your granddaughter? If yes, most if not all sites let you have what is classed as a 'pup tent' on your pitch along side your van, at no or a very small charge.

Wales coastal site

Is the Gower close enough? A few years ago we spent a great week there at a site not far from one of the finest beaches you'll ever see. Pitton Cross was the site and it took all units.
