NEED HELP WITH MY GENE (1 Viewer)

HI HAVING SOME ISSUES WITH MY GENE, IT RUNS FOR ABOUT 30 MINS THEN CUTS OUT CHECKED THE FUEL AND WHAT I CAN TO GET IT STARTED,STILL NO JOY,ITS A CLARKE 1KW INVERTER.
ANY IDEAS

May be a bit of (rap in the carb blocking the jet.. or filter (If fitted) may need a clean..

Have you checked the oil?

We had a similar issue with ours some years ago, ours had an oil light which flashed when low, ran fine for 15 - 20 minutes then conked

Topped up with oil, been fine since, probably about time to check it again

Actually don't worry about the capitals it doesn't matter, some may say a broken gennie is always something to shout about..hope you get your gennie working (can't believe I've just typed that lol!)

If you haven't run it for a while, then the possibility is that the fuel has evaporated in the carb, and left a 'film' which is slowing the fuel supply entry down from the needle valve. Remove the carb, clean out, including both the main and progression jet, and try again after adding a touch of new fuel to the tank.
