Nearly Had A Disaster (cadac Issue)

Cooking breaky this fine morning and gas runs out. So quick as a quick thing I change bottles and relight cadac it wouldn't light OH NO.

Quick inspection finds this message n burner tube see PIC.
I removed the offending part and managed to cook breaky phew.

Any ideas as what action to take leave it fix it etc it's about 5 year old so no warrenty. But apart from that its like new.

No idea what that is but I don't think it's part of the cadac.

That will have restricted the gas flow, or stopped it, so Check your empty bottle. ...It probably isn't empty.

What does the blue thing look like from the other angle? Can you see any gauze?
