Does anyone have a copy of above I could buy from you. Its not that I dont know the roads, its just been a couple of years since I was last over that way. Just want a hard copy of stop offs as we weich round.
If you pass me details would be appreciated.
Probably do it next couple of weeks as its getting bit quieter now
Thanks.

Just plan it as you go. Embrace the freedom and many areas to wild camp in the north.

I tried that but never arrived. I will probably just pick up a free one on route. It was more for fuel stops. Sundays can be terrible up north cause of the Wee Free kirk Sunday rules!

its only 500 miles right round, how much fuel might you need??

Durness has 24/7 fuel, plenty of food and fuel stops on the way round, don't over think it (y)

the best bits IMO are just off the NC500, have fun

Err, 500 miles worth ?

Yes, don’t over think it, I’ve done the route several times on my Ducati that has a tank range of just over a hundred miles. You’d have to be a right numpty to run out of fuel in a Motorhome!

Durness how times have changed , I remember being there on a Sunday morning ,the spar shop open for a couple of hrs only, garage opposite shut , these German bikers rode in by the pumps , scratching their heads I went over and told them no fuel till Monday !!! Over the yrs ? now there is 24 hr fuel / electric charging points !! Oh yes Scottish tourist board locations have been drastically reduced due to the Internet they say , nobody uses them any more !!! The one just near Durness ( happy memories there during a storm ) gone also the one down Loch Ness gone no doubt a lot more as well .
