Nc500 in the news again and new route opening this year

I see the nc500 is in the news again , a few positive comments in amongst the negative ...at least they seem to be discussing waste disposal points for motorhomes etc.

But it can't be that bad as the are now opening another route around the central area trossschs etc

Theres also one around Dumfress and Galloway the South West Coastal 300 no talk of stopping promoting it that I've heard of I suppose there will be some who see tourism as an opportunity to make money and others who see it as a nuisance no different to any other industry

The SC300 is certainly not as busy as the North Coast, not yet anyway. Now may be the time to do it, it's really very nice.

Don't do the NC500, it's crap, the roads are full of huuuuuge potholes, nowhere safe to stop. The locals will frighten you and the midges will eat you.

Lennie, the journalist was just quoting what councillor Kirsten Currie has said, she is making a big thing of it on twatter and doing nothing for the image of motorhomes at all.

Typical councillor...she will no doubt own a b&b or campsite or a close friend does ....it gets a cash bung from one.

They're all corrupt as hell
