We have just returned from completing the NC 500. A wonderful experience, beautiful scenery , beaches and food. We wild camped all the time. The only down side was the weather and midges.
I would do this trip again but take a month to do it. I was impressed with our m/h Autotrail Apache 2004 , 1788.8 miles at an average of 34 mpg.
