Never been that far North before but got the impression the the scenery was a lot less mountainous than lower down which is very scenic. Thinking of going but dont want to be disapointed

There are many places in the UK where you might be disappointed but the NC500 isn’t one of them.

The highlands are in the north and the route will take you through varied scenery; the eastern side of the route isn’t as mountainous and is a little less desolate but it is no less impressive for it.

If you go you will not regret it.

Loved the scenery in the programme but it only covered a small part of the NW500.

Next week is Glasgow.

Does anyone know if there were previous episodes, or episodes yet to come, that may cover the rest of the trip?
