Just bought6 the Nature Pure water system and tried to fit it all going ok until I tried to connect the system to my cold water pipe.
I managed to cut the right pipe well it is coloured blue so even I can manage that.
The problems started when I tried to fit the ‘Tee’ section that is when I found out my existing pipe OD and ID are very small, too small to fit the connection into both ends of the cut pipe.
The ID of my cold water pipe is only about 8mm the OD is about 12mm.
Good job im not going away this weekend.
I can not go out and just buy a smaller Tee section because the one supplied has a thread where you connect the supplied pipe to the filter

i had fun fitting mine also but for different reasons.
as we have micro-switched taps i didn't want to use the supplied tap besides there really was nowhere to fit it then came the fun under the sink in my van just where the filter was going to fit there is a radiator for the alde heating system. so instead its now under the bathroom sink

Hi, managed to get mine to fit just by softening the pipe in very hot water. It becomes nice and pliable but will need cutting off if you ever want to disassemble it later.

you'll find the supplied fittings are an American pipe size.

mine was supplied with the UK pipe sized Tee as well. (show special)

the pipe to the filter housing is still american size, as is the housing to tap, so an american to UK adaptor Tee is needed.

you need to cut off the knurled nut on the filter pipe and push the pipe onto the tee.

as already said, very hot water will soften it enough to push on.
