After all the trouble regards the AA just used them fantastic.
Just collected the moho driving down my road bad rattling noise from engine.
Phoned up AA turned up in 10 mins.
Diagnosed alternator belt shredded and aircon belt missing.
A class moho so not easy access just dpent two hours stripping it down collected new belts and fitted them.
Success story we can still head off .

Thanks that good to know . We just took out nationwide FlexPlus

Edit
I may have misread it - nationwide or aa ?

Yes the AA carryout assistance for Nationwide.
One thing was a bit concerning the mechanic didnt know they cover upto 8 tonnes. He said the normal patrols dont have jacks that lift that weight. So if you have a heavy van and need assistance i would mention it when you call. I just had to drive up onto my ramps and he managed he was excellent.

Excellent, did he go and get the belts or did you ?

No he diagnosed it, stripped it down then went to collect them and returned to fit them all in freezing cold and rain . Couldn’t ask for better. I must of just got the right bloke.
This is what I’d liked to have experienced. We even had to pick up the Diagnostic bill at the garage in Siguenza before we flew home to Bristol.RAC is playing dead with us.I will keep you posted.

It turned out our AA mechanic only lived round the corner from my house I suspect he wanted to stay local. When i asked him what he did for us was the norm, he said no most would have towed us to our garage. So being grateful i bunged him £20
A bargain then!

I once had 2 chaps deliver an American fridge freezer into the kitchen at the back of our house. I couldn’t have done it with Lucy for any amount of money. They sweated, strained and worked their nuts off. I have had deliveries before and they refused to do them and drove off again.

I bunged them £20 too.
