Just discovered that I can`t renew my lottery entry while in France
For the normal lottery set up a direct debit online and it will automatically renew if you are abroad for a short while.
If it is Euro lottery you can do it for 4 weeks at a time and if you are away longer than 4 weeks like I am sometimes I just text my son to sign into my account and renew it that way.
If by chance you win do not let them know that you are abroad, get back home quick
You can play online from anywhere in Europe if you know your numbers, just google it.
Currently in Sicily and just done the Euro millions, 71 Million first prize!!!!
There is the Lottery and Euro Millions two totally different beasts
Not sure about that.. I have tried online ever since leaving uk in December and the website recognises that I am not in uk and will not let me proceed.
Something to do with the taxes in the country from which you purchase the tickets. I believe Spain will take about 20% of any lottery winnings if bought there.
I have the same problem. I can't even log in to check the occasional win after an email when abroad. There was a thread on the NHS AAA (Aneurism) test recently and I couldn't get into that site. Even these "hide your ISP address" sites don't get me through although they work for some things in the UK.
Find a free UK proxy and you will be able to log in to your account and they will think you are still in the UK, from anywhere you happen to be!
Have a look at ExpatShield.
