It was good to see SV tech weighing vans at Peterborough, did anybody get a nasty surprise when they rolled over the weigh plates? we clocked 7350kg but still within our allowance :giggle: (y) so happy days.

We are 1000kg heavier than when we picked it up though:unsure: but only 80kg of that has transferred to the front axle which just goes to show the importance of correct loading (our front axle is heavy when empty) I know that 1/3 of the extra 1000kg was down to the full water tank which sits on or even behind the rear axle then we have a scooter in the garage etc etc.

Thanks SV tech for your time and Jim for organising it (assuming he did;))

is it part of the Funster area or accessible to everyone - just asking as if its accessible to everyone, then i assume there may be queues ....

Just part of the Fun area I believe and don't even know if it was just yesterday or if they are in today as well.

Some 860Kg under our MGVW! 😎

We recently emptied the van to give it a thorough clean through though before repacking minimally (full water tank though) for this weekend.

Spot on here.
Plated at 4500kg. Weighed in at 4500.
We are running in our full travelling mode with full water, gas, fuel, chairs, gazebo etc. I was a bit surprised as expect to have at least a 100kg buffer. Started to empty the garage last night so we are already down by some gin and Hobgoblin. 👍🤣🤣

It will be interesting to see a breakdown of results from SV Tech, it will help many going to the next one to focus especially if 3500Kg max. It may be a small sample and not statistically significant for some. Great idea put into practice.

It was just yesterday they were here. I think a few funsters did have a bit of a nasty surprise and possibly a couple were dangerously overloaded. Issues were normally rear axle. Sv tech weren’t giving any details which is only right.
