I have fitted my B1 and yes its great does all it says.

I have noticed one problem!

When the back light is on it has 2 half moon black spots on both top corners. I spoke to the supplier and was told they are all like that to concentrate the light to the centre???????????

To all who have one of these fitted; does yours do the same????????????

Hi Patrick,

Bryan & Suzy have one fitted. Bryan did have an issue with the original though. Might be best to PM him.

Hi Pat,

Mine was like that. Complained and they sent another for me to swap - new one was the same

Geo bought one after seeing mine and his is the same - as is ehuplad's.

Guess it's a design fault myself, the reason given seems a bit suspect - why only the top corners?

Could speak to nasa (the manufacturers) about it I suppose...

I'm not to bothered - It's not that bad and I'll live with it rather than be without. It's only there when display is illuminated.

Have had one fitted now for 15 months and works fine.. do not have half moons on mine?

We have on fitted but I dont remember any half moon thinggies so will check next time we are out on the bus (next week for a month :thumb: :thumb: :thumb. I have to say it does exactly what it says on the tin and would not be with out one now.

I would have described mine as two little triangles in the top two corners
But if I drank as much as Patrick, i supose half moons is close enough

I only drink when were all at a meet; the longer the meet the more i drink!

As long as i drink less than my doctor i beleive iam ok!
