Hi. Does anyone know of a narrow road app? We have often gone down some very tight roads. Oh, and low bridges. Thanks

Do you guys really think someone has been out and measured all the roads.
Noooooooo surly not
All these so called large vehicle sat nags do is keep you on A roads as long as possible often adding miles upon miles to your trip.

My satnav shows me the road sign for the junction I'm approaching, do you really think they go out and photograph all those ?

Even with my Garmin trucker sat nav set with my dimensions I have ended up in some tight roads in Devon & Cornwall

Rather than spending more money on another sat nav I use the one I moved from my last Landrover. I admit to a few tight squeezes but mostly using common sense I havnt got stuck.
Also as much as possible I travel in day light. If I have to travel in the dark I try and stick to main roads. Generally if there’s grass down the middle you shouldn’t be trying to use it with a motorhome.

I realise I'm on a narrow road when the Ducato door mirrors are pushed in by the hedges on either side......er like in Wales last week. No damage to the mh though☺. It's just one of life's little challenges.
I've now bought a Philips big easy read map book. Thanks Minxy Girl .

I use the RV version of Sygic Truck and have not had any problems to date with narrow roads or low bridges as you can input the dimensions of your motorhome and it routes you accordingly.

APOLOGIES FOR CAPITALS, IPAD PLAYING SILLY DEVILS 😡HAD A LOOK BUT NO DETAILS OF COST BEFORE DOWNLOADING,

I use the Copilot app on my phone.
This allows you to crate a profile with your dimensions and weight in, which is then used by the system.
It's not foolproof (nothing is) but it generally does a good job

A cheap paper map and check the silly route the satnav wants to use. I have IGO and Sygic Truck in the van and on my phone, they rarely agree.

Er, well .... we've been down a few this week in Wales ... didn't stop us though!

We're in Wales at present and have been down some very narrow roads that would give a lot of MH owners squeaky bums but we haven't had any issues with having to push in our door mirrors yet but that could simply be because they are mounted high up above the hedges!

Seriously though we've been down some very narrow roads where you wouldn't get a standard width MH (2.3m) no matter what you did, and yesterday on one road through town a numpty had parked such that we thought we might have to put one of our mirrors in but just managed to get past with a couple of inches to spare - ours is only 2.12m wide which is one big reason why we bought it not wishing to go much fatter than a PVC at 2.05m wide so that we aren't restricted on where we can go if we want to.
