Nancy-Lorraine area

Thinking of going to Nancy tomorrow - open to other suggestions though East/North france.

Any suggestions on where to camp- local site not open til April.

We will ultimately head to Paris then arras to see the tunnels. we are in Trier in Germany at the mo and want somewhere a bit more picturesque to visit.

I think you are a lost cause if the Moselle is not picturesque for you.

Metz has a nice municipal/aire in the city centre right on the river.

I think we have been spoilt by Belgium, was in Ghent prior to here.

Yes, nice city. Have you seen Chochem, just up the river. Glorious town in the summer, not sure at this time of year. Then on to the Rhein Eke in Koblenz, also glorious in the summer.
