Well less than 24 hours ago we were just leaving the Bonfire meet at Shrewsbury, we are now parked at Arnhem in the Netherlands,
A nice spot as you can see and handy for watching the boats go bye, in theory you pay €9 per night but only with an app available in Dutch and possibly a Dutch bank account as well, the man in the cafe said if you don’t want electric don’t bother so that’s Good enough for me.
Anyway it’s about 70 easy miles from Rotterdam leaving about 160 miles tomorrow to get us to the Niesmann+Bischoff factory at Polch.
N+B are now part of the Hymer group but have their own factory at Polch near Koblenz and they produce vans to their own designs and standards, the parent group seem to let them just get on buildings vans that are concidered my many to be the flagship of the Hymer range.
So we are on our way to the factory for their annual open weekend which is totally free and open to anybody who wants to turn up and park in the field or anywhere they like around the town as they are quite relaxed about Motorhomes as so much of the smalll town earns a living from the factory and surrounding suppliers.
The event doesn’t really start till Saturday but it never hurts to be early as it can get busy in the parking.
Anyway that’s enough for now, updates to follow.
