I am aware that the forum has changed over to the new platform tapatalk and it has opened on my phone on the app BUT I am in Germany with only the slowest of slow connections and can not really look at it until I move in a couple of day.

As far as I know the forum should look the same as the beta test one we had linked from the old N+B forum, I have admin rights so hopefully can sort something.

Bear with me.

OK update, I have found WiFi in Morelo showroom  HELP.

You need the tapatalk app and then you have a choice of “discussions” or to the left of it “forum” this should take you to the forum. There will be some admin messing about to get it looking right but I can’t get into admin on the phone st the moment.

I must say...Be careful of tapatalk; privacy and vulnerability concerns abound and have done for many years. I would never install it here. Yes, It's much harder to get a site to work on a mobile platform like we've done here but once done it's far better than risking using third party access like tapatalk.

OK, don't panic. People.have managed to escape the Morello Showroom with their wallets intact but it's tricky and requires planning and a cool head. Now's the time to flush any pens you have on you down the lavatory and see if you can trap your signing hand in a door or similar. Ear plugs have been found effective used in the past. Good luck and remember you have a cooling off period!

Liar, your next van will be American and we both know it ;) .
No as strange as it might sound Jim ,as you know we 10yrs with the Americans and really enjoyed that time ,but now we are firmly ensconced with the european motor homes again. This year we have been to some really lovely outlandish places that you would never get an RV into .But i really understand the lure of the RV,s.But i will finish by saying never say never:LOL::LOL:

Come on, you are not that sensitive are you?

Specialist forums like N+B are very useful as they concentrate on the particular product. The posts are infrequent and could get lost down the days in a forum like Fun. Also they do not get cluttered up with Jokes, Politics, Trivia etc. - well at least the N+B one does not, and there are useful product specific and informative replies, from members who are also on here, e.g. Martin (Funflair)

If I was I wouldn't keep posting in the thread would I. :) I don't get stressed at all by such stuff these days. I do understand the benefits of owners clubs.

That said, generally it is bad form to point from one forum to another other. A forum owner can spend a fortune in time and money to get people to his site only to see them pointed elsewhere. If visitors here have an N&B then I want them to talk about it here Its a great place, no going off topic, no jokes or trivia with useful product specific and informative replies, not a single lost post :D

Jim

I take your points, but you seemed to have missed mine about posts on N+B matters can well get lost in the mass of traffic on here - it is not infrequent for 24 hours of posts to be on 4 pages. There are many members of different forums who visit infrequently, which happens to apply to the N+B UK Owners Forum.

Also not all owners of a specific marque are members on here, so a marque's forum would be a natural place to seek help, just like a FIAT forum. They are specialist forums whereas Fun is a generalist one - there is room for both. There may be many helpful posts on a FIAT forum from FIAT van drivers who would never post on a MH forum.

As long as I pay my dues on any forum I feel also entitled to pay on other forums and use any as I like, without suggestions that I should use a particular forum on any particular subject.

You seem to have missed my point when I said I understand the benefit and I'm not bothered that its mentioned here. :D

I cannot see how that squares with the other part of your post, namely

"That said, generally it is bad form to point from one forum to another other. A forum owner can spend a fortune in time and money to get people to his site only to see them pointed elsewhere. If visitors here have an N&B then I want them to talk about it here"
https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/forum/forums/niesmann-bischoff-owners-club.101/
I am happy to be a member of Fun but if I want to reach a wider N+B audience on a technical matter I would choose to use the N+B UK Owners forum as I perceive there are more N+B owners on there than here.

I don't quite understand your beef here. I said I wasn't bothered, my posts in the thread reflect that. Yes I'd prefer that people I attracted here spoke about N&B here, but if you or they choose not to I'm not bothered at all.

I’m glad I have been out of mobile service for a few days:LOL: anyway I think N+B have sent more members to Fun than the other way around, I know I have persuaded quite a few to join Fun myself.

Anyway I think its running OK now(y)
