I've just purchased a Swift Kon-Tiki 659 2011
I've sussed most bits out but have found a little 12v rocker switch to the right of the instrument panel that seems to do nothing. Nothing seems to happen when i flick the switch.
A friend of mine has an auto trail on a Ducato chassis with the same swicth and he doesn't know what it does either.
Any help gratefully received

Hi, possibly switches your radio power source from engine battery to leisure battery.

Bilge pump?

Only joking! :)

And a big welcome to the Forum. If you can post a picture of the switch it might help.

Do you have an alarm? as on the Strikeback you will have a switch for the bike loop that you plug in usually under the rear garage floor.

beat me to it! mine had a red led as well to show it was on.

It's basically a simple 12v rocker switch (round like the one shown). Thanks for some of the suggestions. I do own a boat and the bilge pump is automatic however I do have one of these switches on the console for nav lights!! Don't have a garage floor but the van has an integrated alarm (will check that). But I reckon that it could be the first answer!! Thanks guys and thanks for making me welcome here. All the best Mike

Ease the switch out. If it’s connected to two yellow wires, you have a Strikeback installed and as suggested, this is the overide for the Accessory Protection Circuit (APC)

this allows you to export the alarm out away from the Motorhome to protect, bikes, trailers, Paddleboards, pretty much anything outside the Motorhome.

When you don’t need it, unplug it, coil it up and turn it off, pressing the little black rocker switch in at the top.

It is Standard on all Strikeback and Growler Motorhome security systems

:welco: to the forum. I remember posting a similar question when we 1st got our van. Turned out to be the switch for front spotlights but it took about a year to work it out!

I've got a Cobra alarm on our van, which we've had for six years,it's got the same red led toggle switch and no-one had a clue what it was for ,at last I've found out.Good on ya M.H Fun and Eddievanbitz.
