Noob to MHs. Caravaned a lot.
I maybe interested. Any chance in some more pictures and some dimensions? Namely the overall dimensions of the lathe and plinth (if repeatable) and the swing and max distance between centers.

Cheers :)

Since 2015.......
I’d have got a right bollocking for leaving the key in Chuck. Nice oil drip feeders for the bearings. Nice though.

At school when you couldn't find the chuck key the first place to look was straight up. 9 times out of 10 it was planted firmly into the polystyrene roof

What's the weight (I need to consider my payload)?

I have no idea... But 'heavy' is a word I would use !
Proly about 120 to 140 kilos

Oh I agree... But as it was unplugged, on rollers etc, I took a chance and left it there !

You could strip it, when I moved my lathe which is similar to a Myford, we stripped it down to the bed, still took two of us to lift just that, so I would think 120-140kg is about right.

Two strong men, I should think. Or four old codgers, and another to make the tea.

Good job it is not a vehicle they have got better - machinery has got cheaper but matures with age - and at that age is built to last

Interested @Jaws but where are you based?

But in answer to your question, I am in Thetford
