Thought I'd show a pic of one of my old vw campers and my toad on a frame
Back in 2006 ....was the easiest way to get it to shows

just as a matter of interest where was that pic taken?
reminds me of the flat topped clayhills of cornwall.
might be wrong though.

Might have been better the other way around as the golf probably had more go than the transporter.
Ha ha well had it been an original transporter engine ...but this was tuned and tweaked and could shift itself.
Had a matching trailer for it too

mind i had a transporter with a passat digifant engine 1800cc and super chipped . often at malvern , i sold adapt a bug plates for putting gti engines into beetles etc .
it was nicer to drive though without the demount . usually had a canopie on the back.

mind i had a transporter with a passat digifant engine 1800cc and super chipped . often at malvern , i sold adapt a bug plates for putting gti engines into beetles etc .
it was nicer to drive though without the demount . usually had a canopie on the back.
I probably saw you there I used to have a stall at Malvern now and then and had several vans in the concours

i ran volkssupply here in cornwall . but at malvern always helped karl from volksbits on his stand . used to take my trike there as well. remember when having a customized vw van being only in the minority. was hard to get enough to have a class in the concourse.

Aye I remember that too lol ....now they are ten a penny
