Just to wet your appetite

Here are some pics of my baby Bichon Frise

Babies are now 10 years old.

Mum is no longer with us.

We kept 2 puppies.

How lovely. I slept on the kitchen floor for 10 nights after Ellie's pups were born in case she squashed them.

Oh I just love them Lesley. I could happily be a dog breeder and loved it when we had the puppies.

Yes I could quite easily be a breeder as well but Alan not keen.

I spent all my spare waking moments just watching them.

Sandy went into labour at 10.30 pm

And delivered the last one number 7 at about 3.00 am

The very last one was very weak.

We stayed up for an hour or so after labour ended and the weak one did not make it.

We done all we could to help it survive.

7 babies, one and only litter, 2 boys and 5 girls.

The weak one was a boy.

We kept the only boy and the smallest girl.

We sold the rest of them using the kennel club website.

Our son stayed up watching the birth as well, he was 17 at the time, now 27.

A family experience not to be missed.

Would love to do it again, but both of mine are too old and have both been done.
