Both my setters let the little one literally walk all over them.

I just love your setter, boy or girl?, from the look in her eye she knows shes got a bug on her back. From being very young ive always thought that animals are always preferable to people, they accept you and dont judge. unconditional love.

Both my setters are girls plus my 2 yorkie girls. The little one will probably be no more than 5lbs when she is all grown up. never had such a small dog, but she thinks she's big

My setter chose me. I was her human from the moment she picked me at the rescue centre until the day she died. She was highly trained and I just had to make sure I wanted to do what she wanted me to do and we had no problems. I think she may have been the only dog ever to have been expelled from dog obedience class.

Over 20 years on and I still miss her.

Reminds me of when we first got Tazzy at 5 months old, when I was kneeling down doing the weeding she used to jump up on my shoulders/back of neck and sit there! :D

Awww..Both mine are erm...highly trained too.. The one with Suki aka Yoda is lucky to be alive after have bloat/torsion 3 times in 8 months. She was spayed and her coat is awful now. Sophie had such a beautiful coat, now it gets tangled and is all fluffy. Her sister Missy is a bit nutty sometimes, but my ywo yorkies keep them in line.

Still miss my English. She was deaf as a post, but I trained her to hand signals.
Promised myself another when I retire, but the English Setter seems to be a declining breed.
Would appreciate any info on breeders, for future reference at least.

I've got withdrawal symptoms. We lost our little Yorkie, looks exactly like your little one with the amazing ears.
We just can't go through that grief again. We get by with our memories. Bless their little fluffy socks. :h::h:
